Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

  • Applicants must submit college transcripts or high school transcripts if no previous college experience.
  • A completed application packet including one reference.

Master of Business Administration

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale on all previous college work.
  • A passing score on the GMAT test. Northwest University’s institutional code for the GMAT test is  4541. The GMAT requirement is WAIVED for applicants with a master’s degree or for applicants who have a 3.2 undergraduate GPA and at least two years of full-time, professional employment.
  • A completed application packet.
  • Students without a business undergraduate degree must complete an introduction to the business environment course (marketing, law and finance).

Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university (mailed to Graduate & Professional Studies, PO Box 579, Kirkland, WA 98033).
  • GPA Admission Requirement (A or B):
    A.    A minimum of a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale on all previous college work.
    B.    A passing GRE score for applicants with a GPA under 3.3
    ·         Minimum GRE score of 155 verbal, 3.5 analytical
    ·         500 on exams prior to August 1, 2011
    ·         OR MAT score of 400
  • All Non-native speakers of English must have a TOEFL score of 90 or above (GRE/MAT scores waived)
  • A completed application packet.

Master in Ministry

  • Applicants must submit an essay, resume, three references, and official college transcripts.

  • Applicants must submit college transcripts or high school transcripts if no previous college experience.
  • A completed application packet including a biographical essay and two references.
